" A physical fitness program and activity should be a priority and is more important than ever since the pandemic Increased screen time and deteriorated normal sleep patterns. "

Motivating kids to choose something active over screen time has never been an easy task. But the last two years had made a difficult task seem impossible.  Online schooling, organized sports were paused, physical fitness program offered via zoom, made it difficult for social contact and forced kids to spend more and more time in front of a screen.

There is no doubt that the pandemic has profoundly changed family and kid-specific routines. A weekly physical fitness program, activity patterns, including sleep habits, are vital to physical, mental, and psychological health and the development of their growing bodies.  This can lead to depression, anxiety, and insomnia.  This is something we do not want our kids to experience at such a young age.

Valerie Hofstetter

I wanted to let you know that Jesse is in his first month of football practice and is doing very well. He has grown 3+ inches in the last 6 months and is tall and skinny but he is also toned and conditioned and pretty fast. I attribute so much of his success on the time that he spent with you. You gave him the confidence and belief that he could be an athlete and compete. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for agreeing to work with him and being such a great mentor, coach, confidant and big brother to him! You made a huge difference in his life!

One way to help alleviate exposure to these challenges and conditions is a structured physical fitness program.  Here are some health benefits of what structured physical activity will provide:

  • Strengthen their hearts
  • Helps keep arteries and veins clear
  • Improve lung function
  • Reduce blood sugar levels
  • Control weight
  • Strengthen bones
  • Improve dexterity and injury prevention
  • Boosts immune system
  • Regulates blood pressure
  • Boosts energy levels

Our kids psychological and mental health is just as important to their development.  What can you expect from our physical fitness program?

  • Increased endorphins, positive outlook on life, feeling of happiness
  • Elevated serotonin, balancing mood and fighting depression and stress
  • Improved meditative state, pushing away thoughts, anxieties, and worries
  • Heightened confidence, self-esteem, and self-worth
  • Brain boost, strengthening memory, improving creativity and mental energy
  • Improves attention and focus
  • Reduces oxidative stress and enhances plasticity in the brain.

For maximum benefit, most experts suggest that exercise three times a week is ideal.  This activity should be both aerobic and anerobic.  Getting their heart rates up and moving is what’s key.  Our classes are structured to provide cardiovascular, endurance, flexibility, and strength training all in one session.  Exercises will be preformed under close supervision of a coach, and they will use equipment such as, medicine balls, ropes, bands, weights, TRX, agility tools and their own bodyweight.
